Look at this face...

Well, if you're a regular reader of my blog, you know we had to put our sweet Muffin cat down a few months ago when she got 'kitty cancer'.  It was horrible, fast, & untreatable. :(  We've been pondering a new addition to our family... and we LOVED that Muffs was an exotic shorthair.  She was the perfect little cat for our family: tiny (6 lbs. full grown), lovable, usually friendly, and a great indoor cat.  Not to mention that fact!  How could you not love that face?

And even though I still get a little teary-eyed looking at photos of our girl, we think it's time.  Our home just feels empty even with both of the kids running around like crazy people most days.  I just had to share... look at this face!!

And this one?!  Priceless.
We've thought about a kitten since Muffs was 5 when we got her.  But we're also chatting with a lady about a special little guy who lost an eye in an accident.  Seriously, how could you pass that up?!  We're so excited!

We, too, lost our sweet little cat Misty aka Mitty, a blue point Siamese when she was 16. It was a heart-breaker. A year later we adopted 2 cats from a lady who takes in abused and abandoned cats. Oliver is black and white and love to play fetch. He is always bringing us "gifts," including coasters and glass votive candle holders. Earnest is pure white with one blue eye and one yellow eye. He is deaf. And he loves catnip.
