Halloween Freebie: Photo Cards

If you're a fan of BitsyCreations on Facebook, you may have noticed I'm hoping to have more freebies on my blog! I love to "give back" to all my wonderful customers and clients, but I never quite know what to offer. Then the awesome suggestion came of photo cards for Halloween!

So if you have little ones who are 100% adorable in their costumes and you just have to share it, why not stick a photo on one of these "e-mailable" photo greeting cards? They're FREE!

Just click on the blank photos below to see them full size, save to your own computer & pop in a photo. This can be done in most photo editing software that comes with your computer! They're the perfect size for e-mailing. (Sorry, they're not large enough to print nicely, but feel free to contact me if you'd like to purchase the larger file size.)

*Please note these designs MAY NOT be resold or used commercially for any reason. They feature original artwork by BitsyCreations and are copyright 2010.

Have a Handmade Holiday

With the leaves starting to turn color and fall off the trees, I've started thinking about how to make my holiday season special this year. We do a handful of traditional things in our family that help reinforce to our children the true meaning of Christmas. I love this time of gift-giving, though!

I've been a little overwhelmed with our toy "situation" the past few months. The toys seem to multiply overnight! I definitely don't want to stock up on more of the same old toys this year. So as I've been thinking about what to do for my own children, I thought I'd share what I have come across!

Do you know about all the patterns available on Etsy? Countless shops with talented owners make their own patterns for you to use. From knitting patterns to sewing patterns to print-your-own paper products, you're sure to find something that will make a great gift for your kids or something you can make WITH your children for friends & family. The best part is we'll definitely be saving money & creating a keepsake in the process.

So look back here for links to some amazing printables & patterns!

Well Hello!

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I've posted anything. Where have I been?
Searching for balance, I suppose. I'm not sure exactly why, but the last few weeks have been incredibly challenging ones in my life. Our lives seem to go in cycles and I was to one of those points where I was too overwhelmed to do everything I wanted and needed.

So things fell to the side. And unconsciously, one of them was blogging. When I stopped to think about it, I realized I need to make some time to blog because I really do enjoy it! I'm not a talker in real life. I guess I have a few key subjects that will get me going, but generally speaking, I don't share very much. I love having this outlet.

I hope to make time to blog in between all my daily duties!
